Are you ready to become a Ninja? Head to the Dojo to start earning your belts!

Waddle inside to the Dojo and talk to Sensei.

Sensei will appear on the green pillow when your courser is over it.

Take a few moments to learn the basics about Card-Jitsu and Ninja’s from Sensei.

Once you’ve finished talking to Sensei he will give you a starter deck of cards; use these cards to defeat other penguins and earn your belts!

Here are some quick rules for playing Card-Jitsu:

Ignore card Powers for these rules.

1. Each player draws 5 cards from their deck.
2. Both players play a card at the same time.
3. Compare element symbols: water beats fire – fire beats snow - snow beats water (the highest number at the upper left wins ties).
4. A win scores 1 point; if numbers are tied, score no points.
5. Discard played cards before the next round. If your deck is out of cards, shuffle your discard pile to make a new deck.
6. Draw a new card at the end of each round.
7. Continue playing rounds. The first player to 5 points win.

Here is how to win a Card-Jitsu battle…

First Way: Have 3 cards in the same type, but different colors

Second Way: Have one of each card type, in different colors

…and here are the Game Modes:

Friend Mode: You can have friendly competition with other penguins by clicking on the blue mats inside The Dojo. You’ll gain some experience points through this mode.

Earn your belts mode: The Sensei will match you with another player of similar skill level. You’ll gain the most experience points in this mode of play.

Sensei Mode: You can challenge the Sensei at any belt level, but when you beat him at the black belt level (level 9), you’ll be rewarded with special online items.

There are a total of 8 belts to be earned!

Once you reach Black Belt your final step before coming a Ninja is to beat Sensei. When you beat Sensei he will reward you with the Ninja Mask and access to the Ninja Hideout!

Head over to a blue mat to play a friendly game of Card Jitsu, walk over  to the Sensei and select ‘Earn your belts’ to do just that, earn your belts!

During battle click the “?” for help

Remember: snow beats water, water beats fire and fire beats snow! If you both draw the same element, the penguin with the higher card number wins!

How to beat Sensei

Here are some methods of beating Sensei that have worked for me in the past along with a video of me beating Sensei:

Method 2: Select Fire, Water, Water

Method 3: Snow, Water, Water

Method 4: Fire, Fire, Water

Method 5: Snow, Snow, Water

You can only win against Sensei if you are a Black Belt. Once you’re a Black Belt, Sensei will get easier to win against the more you challenge him (thus meaning you might not beat him on the first try!).
