On November 3rd, 2008 a great storm covered the island (from the Halloween Party ’08) and reeked havoc upon the Dojo, striking it with lightning!
That is also the day that the Club Penguin map was updated, the Dojo was now displayed on the map as a location instead of just a secret room!

The lightning strike opened up a hole in the top of the Dojo. Penguin’s were able to go to the outside of the Dojo, now known as the Dojo Courtyard.
This devastation to the Dojo brought the Dojo’s keeper (now known as “Sensei”) out of the mountains. He started a campaign to “Dig Out The Dojo” (as pictured below).

Seven days later more progress was made, and it was official, Ninja Training started November 17th 2008!

On November 14th 2008 more progress was made and the new Dojo was officially re-opened!

The Dojo Grand Opening had one free item, the Geta Sandals.

The inside of the Dojo was filled with decorations for the occasion, it also had a special “Gong Show” that appeared only at the Grand Opening Party!

This was also the first time we got a good look at the Dojo Courtyard (look at the elements in the snow by the entrance to the Ninja Hideout, looks like CP planned for different Card-Jitsu’s all along!)

Finally, on November 17th 2008 the Dojo was completely dug out of the snow and we could train to become real Ninja’s!

That is the history of the Club Penguin Dojo!
It’s come a long way since Sensei first built it many, many years ago.
